Description

M92 is one of the oldest, brightest, and most beautiful globular clusters in the Milky Way. In this true color image, you can clearly see the many color variations of the individual stars, reflecting different temperatures. The cluster, located in the Hercules constellation, contains over 300,000 stars and is similar in apparent size to the full moon.
